I am a clichéd surfer boy from the south east and so I own the obligatory VW campervan to get me from A to B. If any of you reading have ever owned such a wagon then you will probably be more than aware of how hard it is to get parts for the things. When they break down you are genuinely royally screwed and it can be very difficult to get yourself back on the rule.

I suppose this is the same with most vintage cars or foreign vehicles that have found themselves on the road over in the UK. Luckilly for me I was raised in a family of mechanics so I know my way around an engine and car like the back of my right hand. My solution to any broken down problems then is to buy old cars and salvage parts from them, then make some money out of selling what you don’t need on in parts or as scrap metal.
